Postcut is a one-person podcast post-production service. This page explains, in plain language, what information is collected when you work with Postcut and how it's used. The short version: only what's needed to do the editing work, nothing sold or shared for advertising.

Who this is

Postcut is run by an independent editor. The only point of contact is hello@postcut.cc. Questions about anything below can go to that address.

What's collected

• Contact details — your name, email, and the show details you send when you reach out about a project.
• Project files — the recordings, video, and any reference material you share via your own links (Google Drive, Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.) so the episode can be edited.
• Correspondence — the emails and messages exchanged while a project is in progress.

This site itself has no contact form, no accounts, and no login. It does not set advertising or tracking cookies.

How it's used

Your information is used only to deliver the work you've asked for — editing and returning your episode, clips, show notes, and scheduling — and to communicate with you about it. It is never sold, rented, or shared for marketing.

Where files live

Project files are accessed through the shared links you provide and stored only as long as needed to complete and deliver your project. Reasonable care is taken to keep them secure. Once a project is wrapped and delivered, working copies are removed on request, and routinely cleared after delivery.

Third parties

Editing relies on standard professional tools and file-sharing services (for example the cloud storage you choose to share from). Those providers handle your files under their own privacy terms. No data is shared beyond what those tools require to function.

Your choices

You can ask at any time to see what's held about you, to have your files or details deleted, or to correct anything inaccurate. Just email hello@postcut.cc and it will be handled promptly.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Continuing to work together after a change means the updated terms apply.
